Dr. Griffin was born in Gainesville Florida and grew up in Ocala, Florida. He attended University of Florida and then journeyed to Saba in the Caribbeanà, a small dormant volcanic island, where he attended Saba University School of Medicine. Upon completion, he returned to the states to continue traveling and clinical training throughout the country. He did his Family Practice residency at UF Shands Jacksonville Florida. Dr. Griffin says, “I finished my residency on a Friday, began work the following Monday, and have been working as a hospitalist since. I love it! I am truly blessed with a great profession and I have the utmost appreciation for my patients, colleagues, family, and friends.” When he’s not working, he enjoys collecting sports memorabilia, developing vacation properties with his dad and brothers, traveling, fishing, and watching his daughters play soccer – “I’m a soccer Dad!” Dr. Griffin is also the father of a new baby boy, who made their family complete!
I have 5 brothers, of which 4 are doctors.
I love to take my wife and kids on vacations all over the world. Some people say they will not remember because they are too young, but I think they will!
I am a complete baseball card enthusiast.
